I decided to start my weight-gain (or rather – muscle-gain) journey with Merryl in May of 2019. I saw results within two weeks; defined arms, bigger, firmer and shaped thighs, and definitely improved endurance. I started training with Merryl in April 2018. Before I started training with her, I had been doing her GRID classes at the gym. She was so inspiring in those classes and gave everyone individual attention. She checked our form and made sure we stayed motivated, even though this was a group gym class and not a paid session with her. I knew from then that I wanted to have her in my corner to train me one-on-one. My biggest achievement in my training with Merryl has been a major improvement with my strength. She coached me to squatting lower and heavier more than I ever thought I could and I got so much stronger. Merryl also helped me so much with my running and correcting my stride, when I hadn’t even noticed there was work that needed to be done. Merryl has made a huge impact on my fitness journey. It’s been over two years and I feel like she knows that she can push me further than I think I can go. She believes in me and gives me the encouragement and motivation I need, even when I’m doubting myself and I feel I can’t go on.
